Born in Kiev. Graduated from Kiev State Economic University with a degree in labour resources in 1996. Worked as a controller-auditor in Kiev KRU. Studied at the postgraduate program of Kyiv National Economic University. Worked as a chief specialist at the Ministry of Economy and chief specialist at the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy. Has been working at Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman since October 2000. Defended thesis for the Ph. D. degree named "Contractual regulation of wages in Ukraine"  at RVPS NAS of Ukrain in 2001. Became an associated professor in 2006. Married, with two children.
