The Department of Pedagogy and Psychology is a graduate department and provides professional training for specialists in the specialties 015 "Vocational Education (Economics)" and 053 "Psychology".
MISSION OF THE DEPARTMENT
Promoting humanization and socio-cultural development of Ukrainian society by forming a wide range of psychological and pedagogical competencies of future specialists, their professional culture, revealing intellectual potential, developing creative and personal abilities, forming leadership and communicative qualities in the educational, professional, corporate and social environment.
DEPARTMENT STAFF
The department consists of 32 scientific and pedagogical employees, including 23 - working at their main place of work, 9 - part-time, including:
- 7 Doctors of Sciences, Professors - 2 Doctors of Pedagogical Sciences, 5 Doctors of Psychological Sciences;
- 15 Candidates of Sciences, Associate Professors - 7 Candidates of Pedagogical Sciences and 7 Candidates of Psychological Sciences, 1 Candidate of Economic Sciences;
- 10 people without a scientific degree and title - 6 senior lecturers and 5 assistants.
EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC-METHODICAL WORK
The department staff trains future specialists in the following educational programs:

RESEARCH AND INNOVATION WORK
The department provides constant research support for the educational process through the organization of scientific research, the implementation of scientific publications, the organization and holding of scientific conferences, seminars, round tables, the participation of scientific and pedagogical workers of the Department in scientific and practical events of scientific institutions and educational institutions of Ukraine and other countries, the implementation and control of monitoring the results of innovative activities of scientific and pedagogical workers of the department, the organization of scientific and research work of students, participation in All-Ukrainian competitions and Olympiads in psychology and pedagogy, their involvement in the scientific and research work of the department, and the holding of a scientific student conference.
ORGANIZATIONAL, EDUCATIONAL AND CAREER GUIDANCE WORK
Organization and coordination of the work of scientific and pedagogical workers and teaching and support staff of the department, distribution and approval of pedagogical workload, holding meetings of the department, scientific and methodological sections, project, working groups.
Publication of the results of the department's activities on information stands, the department's website on the official website of the university, Facebook, etc. Participation in raising the spiritual and cultural and educational level of student youth, the formation of civic and patriotic values of students, the culture of a healthy lifestyle, ecological culture and a careful attitude to the environment. Implementation of systematic career guidance work with applicants, presentation of the department's educational programs at mass career guidance events of the University (Open Days, Forum of Entrants, etc.), organization of the work of the School of Young Psychologist and Business Trainer, trainings in social competencies Soft-skills. Cooperation with other departments of the University, departments of other higher education institutions, structural divisions of scientific institutions of Ukraine and foreign countries in educational, scientific-methodical and scientific-research work.
INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Study of international and domestic experience in training specialists in the department's profile and launching new international projects, programs, organization and participation in international scientific and practical events: conferences, seminars, exhibitions.
